MAFC Kites Vs Surrey Nomads Blacks, 7–1 Win

Was really looking forward to today’s game and seeing the continued development of the boys at 11‑a‑side — and they certainly didn’t disappoint! The coaches’ message today was simple: don’t give the ball away cheaply and support each other, both in and out of possession.

We changed our formation to a 4‑5‑1, which allowed the wingers to maintain more width and space, while giving one midfielder the freedom to play between the lines.

I thought we were excellent today. There was great vision, movement and understanding, which created so many opportunities. We also saw some really nice finishes to cap off a fantastic performance.

The boys are continuing to develop and grow in confidence with every game, and it’s brilliant to see.
