We were up against it today with 2 players holding injuries and only 1 sub. The game seemed stacked against us.

Coaches' message remains the same: look after the ball and don't give it away with blind passes. If you lose the ball, work hard to win it back.

What an impressive display of football. The game was controlled with real composure, with excellent movement off the ball and a clear understanding of when to retain possession. I particularly liked the use of Henry to restart and build attacks again, allowing the team to maintain control and dictate the tempo.

In the second half we pushed on with tiring legs, still opening the pitch up and creating more and more opportunities to score. Really unlucky not to score again.

Best football I've seen us play in a long time. Super proud of the boys for their work rate and attitudes. 🙌🏻👏🏻
