🔵 NO SUBS. NO PROBLEM. THE BLUES STRIKE AGAIN! 🔥

Another tough away day, another difficult pitch and once again just nine players available, but the Blues continue to show exactly what they’re made of! 💪🔵

Today’s trip to Doverhouse Lions Blues was another challenging one, with a difficult playing surface and our squad still stretched by ongoing injuries and holiday commitments. Despite the circumstances, the lads dug deep, stuck together and produced a fantastic 4–0 away victory!

Once again, we were up against a team with five substitutes available, while our nine players had to manage the entire game without that luxury. But the opposition simply couldn’t break our resolve. The boys worked tirelessly, supported each other and remained committed to doing the right things throughout. Even when faced with some frustrating decisions from the opposition’s parent referee, the lads kept their focus and let their football do the talking.

It’s becoming a real trademark of this group. Whatever the circumstances, they turn up, battle for each other and find a way to get the job done. The resilience, discipline and togetherness they’re showing week after week are fantastic to see.

Two weekends, two wins, six goals scored, zero conceded and just nine players available on both occasions. That tells you everything about the character of this team!

I’m incredibly proud of every one of them. They deserve huge credit for the way they’re representing the club and each other. Keep believing, keep working and keep battling, lads! 👏🔵

⭐ PLAYER OF THE MATCH — VINNIE ⭐

Vinnie has been superb since joining us at the start of the season, and he continues to show just how much quality he brings to this team.

His pace, ability to take players on and willingness to bring his teammates into the game make him a constant threat. What stands out just as much as his talent is his team play and work rate. He consistently looks to make things happen while doing what’s best for the team.

Week after week, he’s making a real impact, and today was another excellent example of what he can offer.

A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match, Vinnie. Keep pushing, keep developing and keep doing what you’re doing! 🔵⚡👏

👏 SPECIAL MENTION — KAYDEN

Another strong and confident performance from Kayden today.

Despite some difficult moments against the opposition striker, Kayden kept his composure, stayed focused and refused to get drawn into the distractions. Instead, he let his football do the talking, showing strength, maturity and excellent defensive discipline.

That ability to remain calm and concentrate on his own game is a real strength. Another fantastic contribution to the team’s clean sheet and overall performance.

Well done, Kayden! 💪👏
